Hi, I am India Amara Nicholls

I have been tattooing for over 18 years, my journey of getting tattooed and mastering my craft has been dynamic, adventurous and deep.

I do what I love and I love what I do.

In 2023 I moved from Toronto to Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish, B.C. in what is known as Canada). I am have a beautiful private studio, Super Natural, in the north end of Squamish. I still make time to visit and work in Toronto however, the west coast is where I am focused.

My approach in making tattoos is to offer an experience in which my clients feel supported, seen, celebrated and encouraged. The choice to get tattooed is a big one, in the beginning it feels monumental and as we move along the tattoo path, it becomes more familiar but it never feels mundane. I have utmost respect for wherever and how ever you are.

The call to get tattooed is both ancient and primal yet modern and alive. Since we humans have had fire we have been ritually marking ourselves, with charcoal and intention. From the simplest of symbols to the grandest endeavours of large coverage, each and every tattoo is of value and importance. I see tattooing as a sacred and profound experience, ripe with the alchemical power of transformation.

I have been blessed and privileged to travel the world with tattooing, both getting and making tattoos in many remarkable places. I have learned from and have been influenced by a multitude of incredible artists, breathtaking terrains and beautiful cultures.

I carry with me seeds of wisdom and reverence for Nature and Harmony. I practice consciously, and do my best to make each and every interaction the best it can be.

Yoga and meditation are the core of my living. I often share techniques and practices (when applicable) to support my clientele in a tattoo session to help navigate the different peaks and valleys that tattooing provides.

My interests in tattooing are nature, ornamental work, and transformation.
